General
As long as you adhere to our Terms of service, you are free to upload almost any audio file that you want. As stated in the terms, you are not allowed to upload any material that you are not the copyright holder of.
The maximum file size is 50MB as of now. We are however actively looking to increase this limit.
Below is a list of the allowed file extensions. As of now the most popular audio files are supported but we are trying to increase the list to support more specific file formats.

- WAV
- FLAC
- OGG
Security and user privacy is important to us, therefore we have taken multiple security measures to keep your files safe.
We use SSL encryption for our website which means that all data that you send to our server is sent over an encrypted link.
When the files are uploaded they are stored unavailable for other users to see. The only way to access an uploaded file is if you have the direct download URL. All uploaded files are usually deleted after a few hours after uploading.
Audioalter works on any device running a modern web browser. The websites design is responsive so that it will look good regardless of your device. You can therefore use Audioalter wherever you are. It does not matter if you have a computer, a phone or a tablet. If a tool is not working as it should, consider trying to update your browser or switch to another popular one.
