Terms of service

Welcome to Audioalter ("the Service", "we", "our", or "us"). We offer users a web application that allows them to manipulate audio files through online software. The Service is accessed on audioalter.com ("the Website").

Your ("the User") use and access to the Service is governed by these Terms of Service ("the Terms").

1. Use of the Service

You are only allowed to use the Service if you are 16 years old or older.

By using the Service, you agree to the Terms, regardless if you are a registered user or not. If you disagree with any of the Terms or our Privacy policy, you must immediately stop using the Service.

You must not misuse the Service. For example, you must not:

Use any automated or unautomated scraping process (including bots, scrapers, and spiders).
Copy, modify, distribute, host, or resell the Service or its content.
Circumvent restrictions put into place to prevent certain uses of the Service.
Processing files at a rate that exceeds what a human reasonably can.
Accessing the Service by any means other than the interface provided at this Website.
Attempt to disable or destroy the Service.
Use the Service for any unlawful activity or violate any applicable law.

If we determine that you are misusing the Service, we may temporarily or permanently terminate your access to the site.

2. User content

2.1 Uploaded files

You must not upload files that violate anyone's intellectual property rights such as files protected by copyright. We do not, under normal circumstances, analyze the content of files and are thus not responsible for the content in the files uploaded or any eventual copyright infringements or other misuse caused by the file being uploaded. We may access your content if it is necessary to respond to (a) support requests, (b) detect and prevent misuse, security, or technical issues, (c) improve the Service or (d) enforce the "Terms".

We do not claim ownership of your files or any content in the files. You retain all rights of the files uploaded.

No users, other than the user that uploaded the file, will be able to access the file after it has been processed unless the user shares the direct link to the file. The processed files will be automatically deleted from our servers no longer than 3 hours after the file has been uploaded but we reserve the right to delete the files earlier.

3. Warranties

3.1 Warranties of the Service

The Service is provided "as-is" and is provided without any warranties to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or be constantly available. Furthermore, we do not warrant that the Service will be secure or error-free. Audioalter contains advertisements from third-party providers. We are not affiliated with those providers and are not responsible for any content, product, or service shown in the advertisements. The website also contains links to external websites not controlled by us. We are not responsible for any content found on the external websites that are being linked to.

3.2 Liability of the Service

You may use the Service at your own risk and you are solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from using the Service. Audioalter is to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law not liable for any damage resulting from any use of the Service, including any unavailability or removal of your content.

4. Modification

Any new feature or tool added to the Service shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of the Terms of Service by posting the updates to the Website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the Website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

5. Miscellaneous

5.1 Severability

Should any individual provision of the Terms be or become invalid, this will not affect the validity remaining terms of the Terms.

5.2 No waiver

Our failure to enforce or exercise any of these terms is not a waiver of that section.
